Retired: Dr Stuart Dorney

Dr Pantle will step into the position left vacant by Dr Stuart Dorney, who retired in September. Over an impressive 40-year career in medicine, Dr Dorney enjoyed the respect of his peers as a highly regarded paediatric gastroenterologist, including being a member of the team that first performed paediatric liver transplantation in Australia. In more recent years, Dr Dorney provided outstanding leadership in the areas of risk minimisation, medical governance and medical regulation.
